Granola is an all time favorite to eat during breakfast or as a healthy snack between foods. The combination of dry fruit, nuts and honey or any kind of syrup are a good way to gain energy during the day. But did you know that most of the granola we buy in supermarkets is not as healthy as you though?
Granola found in supermarkets are usually high in sugar and a small portion can have a lot of calories. Sometimes there are brands that use more seeds and nuts in their recipes and be more benefitial for your health but the mayority uses aditives to make it taste better.
Our recipe consists in almonds, pecans, oatmeal, coconut and honey. Most of the fat in nuts is monosaturated fat, which is the best source of fat you can get, and also omegas. They are a good source of fiber and protein, they also help to improve the metabolism.
This recipe is really easy to make, all you need is to chop the pecans and almonds into small pieces. Mix with honey and bake. We use honey to unify all the ingredients. Honey is an excellent source of antioxidants.

20 – 25 (30g~1oz per serving)
- 100 g unsweetened shredded coconut (3.5 oz)
- 100 g almonds (3.5 oz)
- 100 g pecans (3.5 oz)
- 100 g oats (3.5 oz)
- 300 g honey (10.6 oz)
- Chop pecans, almonds into small pieces. Mix with shredded coconut, oats and honey. Mix until well combined.
- Shape into balls (30g ~ 1oz)
- Bake for 12-15 minutes at 170°C (338°F) and it is ready!
